Last night, while jamming out to the Kari Jobe station on Pandora, I made 22 burlap rosettes which I've wanted to do for a long time... don't know why I put off fairly simple crafts sometimes when it's actually quite relaxing (I'm rambling)... I found the tutorial for how to do it from
Craftaholics Anonymous' blog.
This morning, I woke up "bright" and EARLY to get ready for The Find's first time to participate in a craft fair. I stopped at Jamie's to glue my burlap to wreaths, frames, and baskets, and then we headed down south for the fair. We, of course, stopped at some yard sales along the way!
The craft fair was fun because I got to hang out with my family and Jamie and see people from my hometown that I don't see often; however, we didn't have a very good turn out. Basically, it would have made the day even better to have made cash AND see family/friends:).
I have some pics of my burlap rosettes, The Find booth, and my amazing yard sale bargains.

These weren't difficult once I got the hang of it, and I want to glue one on everything in sight! Ha. The buttons were on clearance at JoAnn's. |
The Find's booth... Even though we didn't sell much, we got a lot accomplished for the future-- that's my positive way of looking at it! :) |
My mom made cakes & pies. She sold all of her pies! Yum! |
Brittany set up her cute sample shirts and adorable hand towels for sale. |
I brought one of the wreaths home. I needed it. |

I went to a big yard sale today and found a lady whose daughter and Ava have the same initials! I got this Kelly's Kids dress for $5. |
The hot pink minky dot fabric caught my eye, and when I picked it up and realized that Ava's intials were on it, I was so excited! I've found "Ava" stuff at yard sales, but never her initials. Kelly's Kids, $2 |

Chocolate brown sweater, $1 |
Play clothes for next summer, $1 each |
Swimsuit cover up & patriotic dress, $2 |
7 long sleeved shirts (4 of them blank for monogramming), $1 each | | |
